Double A-arm CV Rearend Unit
« on: December 15, 2008, 11:04:49 PM »
This kit is complete from wheel hub to wheel hub. All you need to do is weld the center carier into your chassis. The available traveil is aproximatly 14". Wheel hub size is made to your specifications. This unit will handle alot af abuse and power as I have tested them personally and have sold them throughout the US with zero problems. This unit shares the same overall dimentions of the Edge standard double A-arm rearend unit.

Kit comes partially assembled with the following...

Sprocket, center shaft & bearings, CV axles (type 4), Brake rotor, caliper (dual piston floating), A-arms, pivot pins, uprights, stub axles & bearings, wheel hubs, center carrier, and all hardware.

I can break it up or build to other specifications upon request. Thanks for looking.

more pics comming soon.

In a barracuda would this be better than the PIRCV?

The PIRCV in my opinion is better but heavier and you have to move the engine further to one side. Its also More expensive. I sell the PIRCV rearend from any little part to complete units. The PIRCV units I sell have some mods done to improve strength and clearance as well as long term use. Ill be creating a section for these when I am more prepared. I'm currently building 10 units and when I am close to finishing Ill post up an ad.

Looking like about $2800 and it will include EVERYTHING! It will also include the improvements I have made to personalize it to my likings. There are some small issues with the PIRCV as it is built to plans.

CV clearance, Chain adjustment, caliper clearance, and I am now using crush sleeves in the pivots where Edge does not. Ill be going more into detail in the future. Even my hardware is better IMO.

i think he wants it all except, center shaft, sprocket, rotor, caliper..  just the center housing, axles, arms, hubs and uprights... so instead of chain he would stick a differential in it.

I would just like to be sure. If he is using a diff he may be able to do without the center housing and make up his own A-arm mounts. thats all the center section would be of use to him. Just trying to get him what he needs at a cost he can afford. Thats how I roll!  8) 8)
