Things That Trip You Up

It's always the simple things that are a pita. Or it only happens at the worst time .OR some stupid ass ,moronic, absent minded, dumfuk forgets to tighten the ONE AND ONLY inaccessible AN fitting on the whole damn thing. Yes,I AM that stupid ass ,moronic, absent minded, dumfuk that forgot to tighten the ONE AND ONLY inaccessible AN fitting on the whole damn thing. It would require  unbolting engine from tranny and moving it all of a fooking 1/8" of extra clearance. BS!!!!!!! Wellll, 2 fricken hours later and doing major surgery on 2 7/8" end wrenches and the mother of invention won out.  LMAO  I now have TWO special wrenches I dare not leave home without. 5:

It's alive!! As Dr.Frankenstein said!

Engine cranked over maybe 6 times and fired right up. I assume it took it that long to bleed air from the injectors. Took about 10 minutes for it to learn idle with the radical cam in it but I'm pretty happy , it  already idles @800 rpm. Should be able to see around 650 soon with some adjustments of timing and afr targets. Cool. I was pretty impressed watching the handheld instrumentation as it was self tuning. Time to do the initial lash readjustment ,tweak a few parameters on the efi and I should be able to hit the road. Running out of time though , gotta get toter loaded  and a bunch of shit I need to do before leaving for LS Tues. morning.
