Pretty cool. Been thinking of adding 2 slides to the toter. Would have to build the floor a lot lighter than he did though.

Honestly,it would be fairly easy. Been thinking about for quite a while. The walls on it are 1/8" aluminum . All it would need is cut out ,build wall and floor structure-reuse the cut out wall sections, add slide racks and it's done. Ain't gonna happen till house and buggy is done though.  A slide out the back sounds good but would be very impractical since I like to just  stay hooked up to the trailer and it could not be used while on the road. Anyone know of a really good Caterpillar engine forum? I gotta find some more reliable ponies.

just a thought but ya that wouldn't work. i don't know a cat forum but didn't you say that any more hp/tq that the trans and/or rear end wouldn't handle it?

wasn't me though there is a limit. Quite a bit higher than now though. Same drive train was used with the  higher hp 3126's and they'd go over 250,000 miles with very few drive train issues. If I put another 100K on this it would last a long time..

I always thought that the structure was metallic square tubing, not wood framing like a house?  I do love the slide on my M/H, it adds a lot square feet, but I don't think I have the balls to cut into a good wall.  Wouldn't you need more structure to keep the wall from flexing and cracking with that huge cutout?

Yes,and if remodeling the toter as I want to, it would be quite easy.  I would use square tube, not wood.

the floor structure would be rectangular tube  with thinner plywood floor. Save a lot of weight.

I can put one on each side of the toter if I get the time to do what I want with it. That would double the usable floor space.
