Anybody here have a crusier bike?
« on: February 19, 2015, 08:26:50 AM »
Thinking about solidly hitting my mid life crisis.  Looking at a few here and there and thinking......

Not inclined for a Harley.  The "mystique" is crap. Although there is one that I like.  Not inclined to spend 12k on a bike when a 8k metric would do just fine.   Thinking Yamaha Bolt?

Any input?

And just so we have visuals - short videos.

I'd rather not die on the street. Bikes are for the dirt..............................

I learned a long time ago I was not meant to be riding a street bike. Lost a couple friends and got over the urge.

Where do you think buggy motor come from?

I'd either drive a MC like a little old man and get hit by someone, or be ballz to the wallz and do the hittin.  But the thought of the open air drive thru countryside is nice.

Lost many a friends myself to them, damn near took myself out a few times..
With age comes a cage?

But if I were to get back on one, Suzuki M109R. Rode one a couple times. Excellent cruiser with balls.
Not to slam any Harley lovers here, but 10x a Harley at half the price.

And we have a winner.

Honda CTX 1300 with ABS.  Hard to classify.  Part sport tourer, part crusier, part bagger.  Should be a good fit.

Out of curiosity,do people run all the stop signs where you are located? Seems like ,at best, people around my area can't effing read. Stop sign runners are my pet peeve and very dangerous for bike riders. I'm sure you will be careful on your new ride though. Wishing you many safe miles of enjoyment.
