Wow Vet's day this year was a blurrrrrrr.  Pulled into our drive at Yuma and was on a dead run until we left.  But here's the cliff notes.

Got the TH set up.
Put the tires and wheels on the little day trailer so I could take the car to John's at OutFront.
Went and got the Jeep out of storage for the wife, Jeep don't start so have to find a batt charger.
After batt charge starter took a chit.
Load new car on day trailer for trip up to LA.
Leave for LA late to avoid traffic get 100 miles out and blow a tire on day trailer.
Only one spare so decided to go back to Yuma and get my tandem I keep for other's to use.
Was late when we got the tandem hooked up so went to bed.
Next morning myself the wife and a good friend Don Kennedy got the car winched on the tandem.
Head for LA again 55 MMMMMMMMMMPPPPPPPPPPPHHHHHHHHHHHHHH ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.
Make LA about ten o'clock.
John and the boys are on the car like stink on poo.
John works on the starter cause it wasn't right.
Every one go's to lunch.
Come back and get the car on Dyno John massages 440 hp to the wheel's that's 550 at the crank on corn I'm like wow now I can kill myself big time.
Pay bill and load the car. By that time it was prime traffic time in LA. So go set it out at Dan's apartment aka SandVW and go to supper.
Seven PM comes and were out of their.
55 mmmmmmmmmmmmpppppppppppphhhhhhhhhhhhhh zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz all the way back.
Get to Yuma late like mid night.
Get up next morning and head for the dunes for Vet's day.
Meet up with Tinney tim and his bunch.
Have pancake's and then out to the flag pole.
After ceremony dune back to Tim's trailer and say buy to everyone.
Blast back up sand hwy and load the car back up.
Back to Yuma for supper and then bed.
Back to the dunes the next morning for a cruz up sand hwy to the Glamis store for a tee.
Blast back up sand hwy and back to Yuma.
Unload the buggy into storage park the tandem and take the tires and wheels off the little day trailer.
Get up early next day and head east for home.
Left the TH down there and the old Dodge pulled out about 21 miles per gal, two tanks of fuel coming back.  jj:

i know that's the speed limit in cali with a trailer and it is retarded when you consider the number of accidents it prob causes but maybe there were more in the past if they could go faster? who knows.......but when fast has set his truck up to pull his toyhauler at 80 mph! 55  had to be torture lol lol
