Waiting on rings.  Be here Friday.  Had to build a tapered ring compressor to put the pistons in.  All my VW and corvair stuff was to small.  This thing has 101 MM pistons.  Need to get it together.  I have it sold.  Looking at a 2002 Tatum Demon with a six cylinder subi.  Has all the right stuff in it.  Twelve quart dry sump oiling, closed deck block with billet crank and H beam rods.  934 CV's and 300M axles.  Five inch gps and a digital dash with data logger.  And power steering.

Fast, does wife know of this sale idea you have?   rofl rofl  Nice car, little extra leg room!  I'll trade ya a bowl of fresh Ga peach ice cream for a ride.

BD, I googled Easton, you have to make your own metal just too far from civilization.  LMAO

I hope to have some pics next week of a couple builds I'm starting.  One is a done deal, other should be in a week.

quote Fast, does wife know of this sale idea you have? Wife is on board kind of.

Cruising on the interwebs yesterday I found one a little more to my liking.  Price will leave me some wiggle room for  personalization.  http://palmsprings.craigslist.org/snw/4538963460.html Same frame as mine but the roof has been razed and the compartment has been widened.  This means more head room and more elbow room.  Plus the frame has not been powder coated as yet so I can put some personal (Fast) touches to it and turn it green.   Sylvia wants to lose the hood and the rap around side panels.  I think she will like them once she ride's in it.  But When it comes apart for powder I can cut all the duz tab's off and put the dash gauges some where else if needed.

Acton/Santa Clarita is pretty close to me (maybe 30 minutes or so).  Let me know if you need someone to look at it.

23.5K for a LS buggy is crazy cheap.  The trans almost costs that much nowadays doesn't it?
