Little bummed
« on: June 19, 2014, 09:08:56 PM »
Very bittersweet day. My pride and joy is on a trailer leaving Payson behind some other dude's truck. Off to New York.

All good things come to an end. Weird how you can get an emotional attachment to an inanimate thing. Lots of fun and will likely never have another car as cool / head turning as that one.

But, bigger off road adventures await. Looking forward to what is next.

I had been pondering the sale for a bit.

Once I figured out what was next it was an easy decision to sell.  My better half had the full blown Camaro with "T" top experience in high school courtesy of her parents.  Like all girls, well, all girls I know, they want the Jeep experience as well.

She has been very indulgent in my toy adventure for the last few years.  Never a peep on the cost.  The move to the forest and the use of a Jeep combined with her desire for that as a car made it a no brainer.  We have always had my truck and my work car.  She has not had "her own" car for a number of years.

We will be offing the truck soon as a few chores / projects are done around the house.  Then, should have a 2014 JKU by Labor day.  I still get to play with it, spend money on stupid shit, etc.   So, I am good with it.  She is a good girl and more than deserves that whole Jeep thing in her lifetime.
